Fill in the facts and click Determine. Each amount shows its chain: amount → base → rate → rule → version → official source → citation. You do not decide whether to add a tax line — the engine decides it from the law and tells you. Every rule reference in the result is a clickable link to the official page.
Paste the estimate lines, one per line. Each line just needs a description and its amount — the amount is the last number on the line. A comma is optional, and pasting two columns straight from a spreadsheet works. Lines with no amount are ignored. They are classified by keyword and compared against the current determination in the Determine tab.
Facts inferred from the account/Opp name (property type, customer type) are marked as inferred; only confirmed overrides count as facts. The Texas rate comes from the official city table (confirm with the locator).
